As a private chef we work with a wide range of different people and cater for many events.

Often the questions we are asked are the same, so her we have compiled a list of our frequently asked questions.

  • Who hires a personal chef?
    People who entertain and don’t want the fuss of cooking and serving Busy professionals and families on the go Anyone who simply wants better meals People on healthy eating plans or special diets Anyone who wants to improve their cooking skills
  • How long will we be at your home?
    It is more than likely that several different dishes will be cooked from scratch. This will take several hours in most cases, but we will be happy to make arrangements in advance so that the cooking and arrival time fits around your schedule.
  • Do I have to be at home?
    No. As long as we have necessary access to your home and a brief outline of how everything works, you can leave us to it, and a spectacular meal will await you on your return.
  • What should I do to prepare for your arrival?
    Please have a clean kitchen and empty sink with substantial space in your fridge & freezer as well as a working space for the chefs. It is crucial that your oven, stove and fridge are in good working order!
  • Do you provide crockery, cutlery, glasses and linen?
    We will need to use all of your own equipment. But we do work with a recommended supplier if you would like a recommendation for hiring tablewear.
  • What happens if I need to cancel or change the date of my event?
    Our cancellation policy is: Cancel at least 21 days in advance of the date booked for a full refund. Cancel, change the date or change location less than 21 days in advance of the original date, we cannot offer a refund as other business opportunities may have been compromised.
  • Can I change how many people come to my dinner party?
    Please inform us of these changes as early as possible so that we have enough time to work out portion sizes from quantity of ingredients already purchased.
